Students, staff and community members commemorated the renaming of the former Central Middle School back to its original name honoring Princess Ruth Keanolani Kanāhoahoa Keʻelikōlani in a ceremony today celebrating her 196th birthday.
The show will feature popular actor/comedian Cedric the Entertainer, along with Blackstreet, a Grammy Award-winning vocal group from the ‘90s, and musical artist Montell Jordan, best known for his 1995 single, “This Is How We Do It.” Tickets range from $45 to $125 and are on sale now.
The pop-up store will also feature “experiential shopping areas” based on songs from “Map of the Soul: 7,” a music video space, an area dedicated to BTS character TinyTAN, and other unique, social media-worthy photo opportunities.
The 30-date summer tour kicks off on June 21 at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH, with stops across the country. Johnson will be joined at various points on tour by Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Ziggy Marley, Lake Street Dive, Durand Jones & The Indications, and Ron Artis II & Thunderstorm Artis.
