In the Mix: Outrigger in Waikiki marks World Oceans Month with epic Hawaii vacation sweepstakes

Outrigger Hotels and Resorts is celebrating World Oceans month in June with a really exciting giveaway.

In its biggest vacation sweepstakes ever, the hotel chain will offer one lucky winner a five-night stay at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu.

Through June 20, sign up for the the Caring for our Coral Reefs Sweepstakes for a shot at staying in a Grand Grand Navigator Suite at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, plus 120,000 Hawaiian Miles, a sunset tour on the Holokai Catamaran, a two-person Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour, a gift certificate to Kani Ka Pila Grille, a sustainable Outrigger ZONE gift pack and access to the Outrigger’s Voyager 47 Club Lounge.

Outrigger is working hard to raise awareness about its OZONE program, which conducts fundraising to protect and renew ocean life. According to a panel of experts, 70-90 percent of coral reefs will disappear in the next twenty years due to pollution and climate change, making conservation efforts even more important in the years to come.

“As a Hawai‘i-born, beach resort brand – protecting our oceans and caring for our coral reefs is embedded into Outrigger’s corporate culture; it’s a cause we take to heart and champion daily,” Monica Salter, vice president of global communications and social responsibility at Outrigger Hospitality Group, said in a news release. “World Oceans Month serves as a catalyst to engage with our guests in new ways – from this year’s historic Caring for our Coral Reef Sweepstakes to working with inspiring organizations and artists including Sustainable Coastlines and Ethan Estess.”
