Grind Time: Filipino Food Week opens in Honolulu

Tara, kain tayo! (Come, let’s eat!)

After taking 2020 off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant edition of Filipino Food Week (FFW) is back now through Saturday!

A week-long celebration of Filipino cuisine, Filipino Food Week invites diners to participating restaurants for Filipino food specials offered by the various chefs and establishments.

This year’s event also commemorates the 75th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the United States and the Philippines by shining a spotlight on the ways Filipino food has contributed to Hawaii’s culinary landscape.
