The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua is back with its 40th annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival this week, although COVID-19 has drastically affected the number and scale of events scheduled in West Maui this year.
Here’s the current lineup; keep in mind that coronavirus protocols will be in place for all events, and limited tickets available mean a number of them have already sold out.

Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar presents a wine tasting and appetizer food and wine pairing with Adam Lee of Siduri Wines and master sommelier Michael Jordan.

Thursday, June 10
Montage Kapalua Bay presents a Champagne Laurent-Perrier and Haleakala Creamery pairing seminar from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by additional sessions from 4 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
Only 20 seats per session are available.
Join this panel session with Naomi Smith, western regional manager for Champagne Laurent-Perrier, and longtime cheese instructor Rebecca Woodburn-Rist, who will take you through a delicious pairing seminar with the beautiful cheeses of Haleakala Creamery, Maui’s goat farm creamery.

AT THE Banyan Tree Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, winemakers Jeff Stewart from Hartford Court and Chris Carpenter of Cardinale, La Jota & Mt. Brave Wineries will be joined by master sommelier Michael Jordan for a winemaker dinner.
Two seatings will be offered, at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday.
This expects to be an unparalleled, 5-course gourmet feast paired with award-winning vintages from two of the wine world’s most highly rated vintners.

Montage Kapalua Bay presents an Al Fresco Champagne Lunch at Cliff House from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
